Dr. Sarwan Kumar is a senior entomologist at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), India, where he has been working for the past 16 years. He has extensive experience in host plant resistance in Brassica crops and has published numerous research papers in this area. Dr. Sarwan has a Ph.D. in Entomology from Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, India, and an MSc in Entomology from PAU. He has worked on various research projects related to insect pest management in Brassica crops. He has also served as a reviewer for several scientific journals and has presented his research at numerous national and international conferences. Dr. Kumar is a member of several professional societies including the Entomological Society of Iran and Society of Chemical Industry, UK. He has received awards for his outstanding contributions to the field of entomology, including the Australian Government’s Prestigious Endeavour Research Fellowship. He is also a fellow of the Indian Society of Oilseeds Research.
