Dr. Aida Meto graduated from the Italian Catholic University \'Our Lady of Good Counsel\', Tirana, Albania. Afterwards, she completed the 1-year Master\'s level II about Gnathological Orthodontic Therapy, at the University of L\'Aquila-Italy, receiving the title \'Msc in Orthodontics\'. She has also successfully completed another 1-year master\'s degree of II level in the field of Endodontic Clinic, at the University Alma Mater Studiorum Bologna-Italy, thus gaining the title \'Msc in Endodontics\'. Dr. Meto has also finished the 3-year specialization school in Orthodontics, at Aldent University-Tirana, where received the title \'Spa in Orthodontics\'. After finishing the specialization, Dr. Meto won a scholarship to continue the international 3-year doctoral school in \'Clinical and Experimental Medicine\', at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Modena-Italy, where she defended with excellence, the maximum points, the doctoral topic entitled: \'Studies on innovative tools against oral pathogens: in vitro and ex vivo models\', receiving the scientific title \'Ph.D. in Clinical and Experimental Medicine\'. During the 3 years of doctorate, she carried out projects and collaborations between various international universities, where Estácio de Sá University, of Rio de Janeiro-Brazil stands out, which won a scholarship to qualify from the experimental side, with the supervisor Prof. José F. Siqueira Jr, world famous. She is the author of many scientific and clinical articles, published in various scientific journals with high impact factor and indexes. In addition to publications, she is also an editor in various international journals, as well as a reviewer of over 145 international articles. Dr. Meto has a number of awards and scholarships won over the years; where in April 2013 won the first prize at the 18th Congress, organized by the Balkan Association of Dentists (BASS). Then, in December 2015, she was ranked seventh out of the first ten, at the University of Harvard-USA, where competed with a scientific poster. In August 2016, took a 1-month scholarship to the International Summer School for Clinical and Implantology Periodontology, from the University of Heidelberg-Germany. April 2017 won the \'Best Article of the Issue\' award from the EC Dental Science Journal. In April 2021, she received the \'Best Poster\' award, at the 28th National Congress of the College of Professors of Italian Universities, in the Dental discipline, Milan-Italy.
