Dr. Samim Al-Azad has recently completed his post-doctoral research from Stephen A. Jarislowsky Chair in International Business at Laval University, QC, Canada\". He is also an Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems (MIS), at North South University, Bangladesh. His current research interests include artificial intelligence (AI), offshore IT outsourcing, IT adoption, and Industry 4.0. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Global Information Management, International Journal of Logistics Research and Applications, Knowledge and Process Management, and Contemporary Management Research. He has presented several papers at international conferences, including the Academy of International Business (AIB), Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems (PACIS), and Administrative Science Association of Canada (ASAC). He was awarded the best paper award twice for his papers at the t ASAC-2014 (IB) and ASAC-2015 (TIM) conferences. He also has experience working with BRAC (the world’s largest development organization based in Bangladesh) on several projects funded by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
